Appointments

consultationAlong with other surgeries within Bradford & Airedale Primary Care Trust, we are continually working to improve our appointment system. At present we aim to see patients within 24 hours of the request, although appointments with a named Doctor or Nurse may take longer.

Appointments can also be booked some weeks in advance if appropriate. We also offer telephone consultations after morning surgery usually around 11:30 - 13:00.

We will endeavour to comply with the patient's choice of practitioner although this might not always be possible and, if this was the case, an explanation would be offered.

Surgeries are appointment only which may be made by telephoning or calling in at the practice surgery which is open from 08:00 - 18:00 Monday - Friday and 0830 - 1030 on Saturday, or alternatively you can book an appointment online (link above).

While we work on an appointment basis, unfortunately due to emergencies and very ill patients the GP may run late. The receptionist will let you know as soon as they can that a GP is running late, and where possible offer an alternative appointment if you are unable to wait.

In the last month (July 2011) over 59 hours were wasted due to people not attending their appointments, so if you are unable to keep an appointment please let us know as far in advance as possible in order that the appointment may be given to another patient.
