The Carers’ Resource is an award winning charity providing information, support, specialist help with assessments and emergency planning or employment, breaks, activities, trips out and also a wide range of training for all unpaid carers across Bradford District.
A Carer is someone who provides help and support for a relative, friend or neighbour, due to illness, frailty, mental illness or drug and alcohol issues. Carer's Resource gives tailored and confidential support and information to unpaid Carer's and those in need of care support

Ethical Tissue, Human Tissue for Medical Research
Ethical Tissue is a Human Tissue bank. It is part of the Institute of Cancer Therapeutics at The University of Bradford and was awarded the 'Biobank of the Year Award 2016'. Ethical Tissue have a donor card for people who wish to sign up to donate small amounts of their body tissue when they die. The tissue is used for research to help find new treatments, or even a cure, for illnesses such as heart disease, cancer, arthritis, diabetes and many other illnesses.
